What inspires you the most?

• Listening to other artists and not necessarily just lofi / chillhop. Often it’s interesting sound design that really inspires me to go out and make something of my own.

If you could relive one moment in your life, which would it be?

• There are none really. I have many great memories and I’m very satisfied with life overall but I feel like reliving a moment would lessen the meaning of it.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be? Why?

• Rural Japan. There’s something about it that really speaks to me through its nature, architecture and culture. I’ve been watching anime since I was 12 years old which might have something to do with it… My Neighbour Totoro is one of my fav films ever, why wouldn’t I want to live in it?

Aside from lofi/chill beats, what is your favorite music genre?

• Soundtracks, if you could call it a genre. I draw inspiration from them all the time. Few of my favs would be Hyper Light Drifter, Outer Wilds, Ghost in the Shell and Mushishi.

What’s one thing about you that surprises people?

• Some people are surprised at how easy I find it to be alone so often. Enjoying your own company is quite the life hack.

If you could tell every person in the world one thing, what would it be?

• Never forget the importance of self-care.
