What or who inspired you to start making music?

I started to compose in the quarantine at my piano cause I needed music to make me sleep, because being alone for those months was too much for me. I started to use ambient rains in my recordings when I played, finding an amazing sensation of peace that I really needed at that time.

What inspires you the most in your daily life? Why?

Despite all the things I’ve lived, life always inspires me. Every day I find wonders that makes my soul smile; my wife and my four cats are the great protagonists in my life, the music I create is our soundtrack.

If you could tell every person in the world one thing, what would it be?

“Enjoy the path”. One of the most important lessons that I’ve learned is that I don’t have to worry about things I can’t control. Life is happening right now, enjoy it, make it better if you can, and take care of everything that comes, when it comes.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be? Why?

Lithuania, no doubt. I think that if you take the time to find out the amazing history and values of the country, you can only fall in love with it. I’ve never felt so welcome than in Lithuania; it is my second home. Actually, “mėlyna” means “blue” in Lithuanian

What’s one thing about you that surprises people?

I fall asleep listening to metal when I´m on a bus, train, plane… Only with metal, the heavier the better.
