What inspires you the most? Why?
-
I get inspiration from so many different sources. Looking back on past successes and looking forward to meeting new goals can be a huge inspiration to me. Music is not about the numbers but it can be a great acknowledgment of hard work and progression. Environment and friends in the musical sphere also give me a lot of inspiration. Watching my close friends David Chief and Notation reach goals is incredibly motivating for me to create.

If you could tell every person in the world one thing, what would it be?
-
I would just share Raphaelle Giordano’s quote, “Your second life begins when you realize you only have one.” I think everyone could benefit from hearing this quote several times a year.

Where do you feel the most centered and happy?
-
Environment-wise, I feel extremely centered and happy at home in my room. I’ve lived in 5 different apartments ever since I moved to Vermont, so I take a lot of pride in how I curate my room to be a comfortable space for many different outlets such as relaxation, art, video games and of course music production!

Aside from lofi/chill beats, what is your favorite music genre?
-
Listening to my mom’s advice? All jokes aside, I’m learning to be a kinder person to myself. It’s always going to be a work in progress, but it’s crazy to see how a simple change in perspective can improve my mood and overall life.

If you could relive one moment in your life, which would it be?
-
It’s so tough to pinpoint one specific moment as there are so many I’d love to revisit. However, a music-related event that was a real turning point for me was attending a free AraabMuzik & Flosstradamus show back in 2012. Watching AraabMuzik’s insane finger drumming skills was something I didn’t even know was possible at the time.
