What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

• Someone I look up to told me "music is a conversation, don't just talk to yourself".
  I think a lot of artists can relate to the anxiety of putting yourself out there, and like many things in life, just getting started can be the hardest part.

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?

• I like to joke that I make "corduroy type beats", but honestly it's not that far off. I'd describe my music as cozy, textured, and nostalgic; like a familiar feeling.

In the last five years, what new belief, behavior, or habit has most improved your life?

• Making an active choice to not let the world steal my joy was a big one. I spent a lot of my life frustrated over things completely outside of my control. It took a really long time to adjust my mindset, and allow myself to enjoy life more fully.
