Q&A / farewell
What inspires you the most?
-
That is a hard question because I feel like literally anything can inspire me - music, art, a walk on the streets, a conversation with someone, etc… I think you can get inspired by a handful of things, you just have to look further into them.
Aside from lofi/chill beats, what is your favorite music genre?
-
This may come as a surprise, but I’ve been a huge dubstep fan since I was 12 years old. I grew up listening to metal, jazz, and funk, so the aggression of dubstep and the calmness of lofi definitely balances out my life haha. Ever since I keep producing dubstep aside from lofi/chill beats and I attend dubstep shows whenever I can!
What do you wish you could tell yourself five years ago?
-
Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there and promote your work and craft! You never know when someone will bump into your creations and fall in love with them.
How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
-
Chill, dusty and raw. Before starting a new song, I like going to the local vinyl shop and buying something random. I chop up the record and I make something completely different out of it. Usually, this requires multiple attempts and I often scrap most of my songs. The beats that you hear on streaming platforms are the ones that I am the proudest of.
